Huangyan Perfumery Co., Ltd., formerly known as Huangyan Perfumery Factory, was founded in 1957 by seven veterans of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. It is the first spice factory in the People's Republic of China, and is a professional enterprise designated by the Ministry of Light Industry with nearly 70 years of production of essence. It has left a special chapter on the spirit of the seven seniors carrying the pot and climbing the mountain in the light industry annals of the People's Republic of China.

In December 2012, Huangyan Perfumery Co.,ltd. added a new production base in Jiangxi Province, opening a new era of essence and spice. The company covers an area of 72000 square meters and has strong financial and technical strength, advanced equipment, and rich professional experiences. The registered trademarks used for the products are "White Cat" and "Twinriver". The company's products sell well in both domestic and international markets. The main products are Methyl Cedryl Ketone, Methyl Cedryl Ether, Cedryl Acetate, Cedrol, Cedarwood Oil, Ethylene Brassylate(HP Musk), Coumarin, Heliotropine(Piperonal), and so on. Among them, Ethylene Brassylate(HP Musk), Methyl Cedryl Ketone, Methyl Cedryl Ether, and the method of preparing ammonium dihydrogen phosphate from the production wastewater of Methyl Cedryl Ketone and Methyl Cedryl Ether, have obtained national invention patents.
